Just finished reading the book yestrday and it is a average book not too great a book.....
If u have a day or two have nothing to do then can think of going thru it ...even if u miss it its fine i guesss................The book in the end is a typical bolly movie where they have a happy ending,,,,,,,
The story revolves around three guys in the whole book ....Govind Patel .......Ish and Omi And the typical ifestyle in ahemdabad is depicted ...the cities love for food and thier different way of thinking...Govind patel as the surname suggest wanted to somehow get a business going and a desperate attempt to earn a lot started a small business with the help of his two best freinds who were also doing nothing productive.So all three managed too start a business a Shop which slod sports good...Then all good things have to come to an end the cycle keeps on going on ,,,,the earthquake in ahemdabad which shatered thier dreams then there is communalism spoted in the book and things like those.....Pretty suprising the book did not create controversies...And the filmi part is govind in love wih the female vidya who is ish his best freinds sister...Finaly there are twist and turns and the story ends with a happy ending.................
I feel it would be a good yashraj Film ...with australia already as a backdrop in the book...THE three mistakes were that he tried to expnad business and buying property in mall which collapsed....falling in love with the person he when as a tutor vidhya ishs sister and the third one when he got ali in fron of him when he was fighting with bitoo mama.....which injured Alis hand.
